The magazine 'Grenzeloos' is organising a debate with French economist Michel Husson and Dutch economist and Socialist Party senator Geert Reuten on the current economic crisis and the response of the left.
 
Geert Reuten is an economist, since 2007 a member of the Dutch senate and writer of 'The Value-Form and the state'. Michel Husson is a member of the progressive think-tank Fondation Copernic, a member of the scientific council of ATTAC-France and connected to the Institut de Recherches Economiques et Sociales (IRES) in Paris. Husson has his own website.

 

The meeting will take place at the IIRE and start at 15.00. Reuten and Husson will speak for 30 minutes on the anti-crisis measures the Dutch and French governments are taking, alternatives like a 'New Green Deal' and the effects of the crisis on the European Union. After a short break there will a discussion between the speakers and the audience. The meeting ends at 17.00
